Our true commitment is seen in how we respond to the opportunities that are given to us. "For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. And to one he gave five talents, to another, two, and to another, one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey. Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents. And likewise he who had received two gained two more also. But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lord’s money. After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them" (Matthew 25:14-30). "Talents" represent the opportunities that God gives to us. What does that mean? We are given the opportunities to invest and use our natural abilities, not for ourselves, but for Jesus Christ. I. Life is made up of opportunities in which we make decisions that count for our Master. Those opportunities require risk when we would rather play it safe. What will I do with my life? Should I get involved with my neighbor’s problems which seem endless and beyond any solutions? Should I still give when i have so little left for myself?i hear a true testimony from a pastor from Hope church.. who r very wealthy and rich but everyday live a fearful lifestyle, fearing pple will murder him for his money.. in the end he choose to let go of his possession.. n give his money to build churches.. now he live a simple life but yet with joy and peace.. Those opportunities to invest your life for Christ’s sake are God-given. What we decide reflects who we really are..Labels: i commit my life to you.., Lord

You are who you are for a reason.
You're part of an intricate plan.
You're precious& perfect unique design,
called God's special woman or man.
You look like you look for a reason.
Our God made no mistake.
He knit you together within the womb,
You're just what he wanted to make.
The parents you had were the ones he chose,
And no mater how you may feel,
They were custom-designed with God's plan in mind.,
And they bear the Master's seal.
No, that trauma you faced was not easy.
And God wept that it hurt you so;
But it was allowed to shape your heart so that into his likeness you'd grow.
You are who you are for a reason,
You've been formed by the Master's rod.
You are who you are, beloved, Because there is a God!
